Around 14:00 Company 78 was alerted to respond to the 380 Auction Barn for a reported building fire.

With multiple calls and EMS being on scene reporting a working fire Deputy Chief 78 requested a second alarm and additional tankers.

Engine 78 arrived on scene moments after dispatch and found 3 greenhouses on fire endangering the main building as well as a shed and vehicles.

The fire was quickly knocked down within the first 15 minutes and held to the units on scene.

Last evening at approximately 19:20 hours, Engine 78 was alerted to respond to the 400 block of Hoover Drive in Washington Township for a reported house fire.

Medic 617 immediately reported a working fire.

Engine 78 arrived on scene to find a two-story, single-family residence well involved in fire, with two exposures beginning to catch, as well as a two-car detached garage on fire in the rear.

Engine 78 initially utilized the deck gun and blitz fire to darken down the main body of fire and protect the exposures.

Multiple attack lines were placed into service to assist with fire suppression.

Engine 78 and Tanker 78 operated on scene for several hours before returning to service.
