Congratulations Franklin Regional Senior High School senior Regan Lynch, who has been selected as a 2026–2027 Mini-THON Ambassador by Four Diamonds!

In this role, Regan will serve as an advocate and leader, helping Mini-THON schools network, share ideas, and unite in the mission to conquer childhood cancer.""Mini-THON for me means turning compassion into action and has shown me the power of coming together for something bigger than myself,"" Regan shared. ""I'm excited to lead as an ambassador because I want to help others find that same purpose, passion, and belief that every person has the power to make a difference.""

Since starting in 2023, Franklin Regional's Mini-THON has raised over $90,000 For The Kids®. These funds support childhood cancer research and cover outstanding medical expenses for families at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital. This year, the team has set a goal to raise $45,000! Best of luck this year!

Big Firsts for Our Littlest Panthers! 🐾💙💛

Our kindergarteners are off to a great start! During their staggered start, students are getting the opportunity to ease into their new school routines, explore their surroundings, and build confidence as they begin their journey as Franklin Regional Panthers.

From learning how to ride the bus and carry a lunch tray to meeting new friends, respecting their classmates and surroundings, and, of course, making plenty of time to play! 🚌🍎🎒

Tomorrow, Aug. 28, is kindergarten's first full day of school! Please be patient as our youngest learners build routines and learn how to ride the bus.

The Franklin Regional Panther Foundation (FRPF) is investing $24,276.48 in our schools through three 2026 Innovation Grants! These grants support hands-on learning, STEM exploration, self-regulation, and real-world problem-solving for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Congratulations to the following team members for their amazing projects, coming soon to our classrooms this year:

🧠 Primary Comprehensive Support Initiative (Franklin Regional Primary School)
The Project: This initiative provides sensory exploration tools, flexible seating, and behavioral and emotional regulation resources.
Inclusivity: These tools will support all K-2 students, including those in Life Skills, Learning Support, and Autistic Support classrooms.

High School is in session! 🔔 10th–12th grades participated in a staggered start to school yesterday, Aug. 25, and today, the high school had a full house with all students attending classes. 🏫 A staggered start allows 9th graders to learn their schedules and routines on a more individual basis before being joined by their upperclassmen. From QRT and lunch to jumping into the curriculum, students are on their way to real-world readiness.
