Activities like lawn darts encourage large motor movement while also supporting cognitive skills such as focus, coordination, and precision. Of course, a little friendly competition makes the fun even better.

One participant even turned the target circle into a hula hoop and had everyone smiling.

The Muscatine Senior Center has become an important gathering place for older adults in our community, creating opportunities for friendship, wellness, activity, and connection.

Like magic, each picture appeared before their eyes as participants explored a new art therapy activity at the Adult Day Center.

Beyond creating beautiful artwork, activities like this encourage focus, creativity, relaxation, and engagement. The participants truly enjoyed the experience and the sense of wonder each new picture revealed.

These tiny kittens visited the Adult Day Program today, creating a purrrrrfect time for all involved! ๐Ÿพ

From cuddles to smiles, they brought so much joy to the room. Interacting with animals is a great way to boost mood, reduce stress, and create moments of connection.

It was a fun and heartwarming day for everyone!
