May is Foster Care Month in Muscatine.

At Tuesday’s City Council meeting, Mayor Brad Bark issued a proclamation recognizing the foster families, youth advocates, and child‑welfare partners who support children and teens in our community.

Foster families provide stability, compassion, and hope during some of the most challenging moments in a child’s life. This month, we honor their commitment and the work of local agencies and professionals who ensure children have a safe and supportive place to grow.

Join us in thanking Muscatine’s foster families and learning how you can support youth in care.
