Start your day with activities designed to keep you active and feeling your best, then challenge your mind with games, cards, and technology assistance. At lunchtime, we're excited to welcome Muscatine's own Paul Carroll for an informative Lunch and Learn.

At the Muscatine Senior Center, our goal is simple: create opportunities for older adults to stay active, continue learning, and build meaningful connections with a community of peers.

Join us for a Happy Joe's Fundraiser on Tuesday, June 30 at Happy Joe's, 203 Lake Park Blvd., Muscatine.

When you place your order, be sure to mention the Muscatine Senior Center, and a portion of the proceeds will support the Senior Center and its programs.

The Muscatine Senior Center remains free for adults age 60+ thanks to the generosity of community partners, grants from the Community Foundation, and fundraisers like our annual Euchre Tournament and restaurant fundraising events.

Every pizza, appetizer, and dessert ordered helps support opportunities for older adults to stay active, connected, and engaged through exercise classes, games, educational programs, social activities, and more.

So skip the cooking and join us for lunch, dinner, or takeout on June 30. It's an easy and delicious way to support the Muscatine Senior Center!

Our monthly potluck was an island party fit for kicking off the summer! ๐ŸŒบ

The Luau Potluck was filled with delicious food, laughter, singing, dancing, and wonderful friends. Events like our monthly potlucks are about more than sharing a meal. They are an opportunity to gather around the table, celebrate together, and strengthen the friendships that make the Muscatine Senior Center such a special place.

Our schedule is designed around three simple goals:

Move Your Body โ€“ Activities like Small Ball, Exercise with Ann, and Chair Volleyball help improve strength, balance, flexibility, and overall wellness.

Engage Your Mind โ€“ Cards, Wii games, Senior Tech, and other activities keep your brain active, encourage learning, and challenge your thinking.

Connect With Others โ€“ Potlucks, Bingo, and group activities bring people together to share stories, laughter, and friendship.

This Wednesday also features our Luau Potluck Lunch at 11:30 a.m. Bring a dish to share and join us for great food, good conversation, and a little island-inspired fun!

We love the second Monday of the month at the Muscatine Senior Center! ๐Ÿ’š

Featured activities include Stretch Bands with Ann, our monthly Texas Hold'em Tournament, and Lunch and Learn with Public Safety.

That's all in addition to the activities our participants enjoy every week, including exercise, cards, games, Chair Volleyball, Bingo, and opportunities to connect with friends.
