We invite you to take a break from your devices for an evening or afternoon and support our students as they present Guys and Dolls at Muscatine High School. Tonight's 7pm performance and two shows tomorrow at 2pm and 7pm offer something for everyone. Your attendance would mean a great deal to our talented young performers. I am delighted with the pit orchestra this year, and it's a testament to our students' hard work. Next year, I will be passing the baton to our Orchestra Director. This classic musical, set in the 1930s, promises to be an enjoyable experience with familiar songs. I encourage you to put your phone away and join us for an entertaining afternoon or evening, free from the stresses of screen time. From our superintendent: The high school's production of Guys & Dolls is underway, with tonight being the second of four shows.

Pep Band TONIGHT — Alumni Night!

Quick update — I was just contacted with a timing change.

Updated Schedule:

5:30 PM – Band room opens

5:45 PM – Begin playing in the band room

6:10 PM – Move to the gym

6:15 PM – Must be in the gym. Play play play.

6:30 PM – Varsity game starts

We will be playing the National Anthem (our newer version — alumni may not know it)

Because of the weather and current road conditions, we are delaying tonight’s MHS and concert. The concert will now take place tomorrow, Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Thank you for your understanding, and please travel safely.

Attention MUSCATINE!
Tomorrow is our last day of being open downtown at 123 W 2nd Street. If you haven’t pick up any Nuts and Chocolates then this is your last chance at the Nut HQ for this season while supplies last.
Please help us sell out of our reminding supply of nuts and chocolates for this year. This really helps out everyone in the band program.
After this week, you still can buy our Koeze Nuts and chocolates at Pack N Ship.
Thank you to everyone that has supported our music program over the years. We really appreciate you all. Come get some more nuts!!

🌟🎶 The Mighty Muskie Marching Band Takes the BOA Stage! 🎶🌟

This Saturday, October 4th, the Mighty Muskie Marching Band performs at the Bands of America Iowa Regional at Waukee Northwest High School!

This is no ordinary competition. The Muskie Band will go head-to-head with some of the finest marching ensembles from Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Kansas, and beyond. BOA events are recognized nationwide as the highest level of high school marching band — and our students are ready to shine. 💪💜

Over the past year, the band has grown drastically, with stronger music, sharper marching, and a show that brings our Once Upon a Dream theme to life in powerful ways.

👏 Let’s cheer them on as they show everyone what it means to be a Muskie!
