Through various fundraising events and several generous donations, The Muscoda Volunteer Fire Department recently purchased a new rescue truck. Emergency lighting on the truck was provided by the Muscoda Fire District. Thank you to those that have supported our fundraising events and to those who have donated to the Muscoda Fire Department. During National Fire Prevention Week, Riverdale K-6th grade students learned about fire safety and prevention from P.E. teacher and Muscoda Volunteer Fireman BJ Hinkle. K-4th grade students had the opportunity to complete in a coloring contest with winners receiving gift certificates to local businesses. Muscoda Volunteer Fire Department provided students with an assortment of activity books, fireman hats, and other goodies to promote fire safety.
