Three Oaks is a non-traditional, accelerated Kindergarten (pre-Kindergarten provided grant funds are available) through fifth grade, tuition free, public school academy with an experiential hands-on curriculum that is aligned to the Michigan Curriculum Framework and Grade Level Content Expectations.

🌲 Become a Dune Explorer!

We’re excited to launch our brand-new Dune Explorer Program at Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park! This free outdoor adventure is designed for kids ages 5 and up to explore the park, discover local nature and wildlife, and take on fun challenges along the way.

Getting started is easy:
Stop by the lodge, pick up a Dune Explorer packet, and complete the activities as you explore the park with your family.

Complete 4 out of 12 challenges, then return to the lodge to officially become a true Dune Explorer and receive your very own Dune Explorer wristband!

This program is completely FREE and a great way to get kids outside, curious, and connected with the dunes, trails, and wildlife around them.

5th grade had a wonderful time at Kids' Food Basket!
They got to tour the farm, learn more about bees and connect it to their science unit, check on their beans in the greenhouse, and even plant some sugar snap peas!
