This afternoon our students had the opportunity to participate in a Beep Baseball workshop game with the Lookouts! It was exciting to watch students step outside their comfort zones, learn new skills, and experience the thrill of adaptive sports.
Recreation and leisure are important components of the Expanded Core Curriculum for students with visual impairments, helping build confidence, teamwork, self-determination, and lifelong interests. Our students demonstrated perseverance, sportsmanship, and a willingness to try something new, and we couldn’t be prouder of them.
A huge thank you to the Lookouts for sharing their time, talents, and passion for Beep Baseball with our students. What a fun and inspiring afternoon!
