Thunderstorms will continue to produce strong to severe wind gusts across the area early this evening. Highest storm coverage is currently moving into the Tulsa metro area & SE OK. Please go indoors if a thunderstorm develops near your location.

Isolated to scattered showers and storms are ongoing over the region this afternoon, with the greatest coverage over NW AR and far E OK. Strong, gusty downburst winds 40 to 50 mph can be expected with any storms that develop, but isolated locally damaging downburst winds are possible. Brief heavy downpours can also be expected, though it will provide some relief from the heat.
