Special thanks to the volunteers at our department who have stepped up in big ways to make our department better, train to be a better firefighters, and spend countless hours on fire scenes protecting our community!!!

Volunteer firefighters give their time, energy, and courage to protect their neighbors and communities, often leaving behind family, work, and everyday life the moment the tones drop.

Woodward county has officially entered a burn ban as of this morning!

We’re asking our community to do there part and be safe doing any outside work that may cause a fire to break out. Yes we recieved some moisture this morning, however it was not enough to do any good. We are still in a drought and with temps returning to the triple digits we still face high fire danger this week.

As always we ask everyone to call 911 immediately if you see smoke. And be safe out there.

The call for help.

Due to the busy fire season our firefighters have endured thus far, we have diminished our supplies.
We call on anyone that can help us. We’re hoping we can get a good inventory of things from our supportive community!!!

Our needs are as follows:
Gatorade
Electrolyte packs (liquid IV, fire salt. Etc)

Snack foods such as:
beef jerky
peanut butter crackers
granola bars
chips
etc.

Firefighter health supplies:
Baby wipes
Eye drops
Sun screen
Chapstick

Anybody that would like to help out there community by donating these things we truly appreciate every little thing we get bc to us they’re not so little.
All donations can be dropped off at Mutual fire station. And they can contact us on here through comments or messenger.
We express the sincerest gratitude to our community and are very appreciative of how you all help take care of us!!

Today 8 of your mutual firefighters and 1 mooreland firefighters participated in a BLS CPR class. Special thanks to NWTC, Justin Boyce, and Shawn Claypool for instructing this class and bringing it to our fire station!

Woodward County EMS continues to provide outstanding care to our community with these new medical transport vans.

Their dedicated team is on duty 24/7, serving not only Woodward County but also assisting many surrounding communities when needed.

We appreciate the professionalism, compassion, and commitment of the entire Woodward County EMS team. Thank you for all you do to keep our communities safe!
