Mark your calendars ... the popular "National Night Out" returns to Myrtle Beach this October!
Myrtle Beach neighborhoods come together to celebrate this annual free event from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, 2101 North Oak Street. Parking is free at the convention center.
All city Neighborhood Watch groups are invited to compete in a dessert competition! Judges will choose a first, second and third place winner. Neighborhoods can also participate in the “themed table” competition. The neighborhood with the most attendees at National Night Out will receive a trophy and a pizza party at its next Neighborhood Watch Public Safety meeting.
The event gives attendees an opportunity to get to know their neighbors, city council members, Myrtle Beach firefighters and police officers, K-9 officers and city staff. Questions? Contact Crime Prevention Officer Stephani James at 843-918-1806 or [email protected] for more information.
