The City of Myrtle Beach Downtown Development Office was created in Nov. 2019 in response to City Council's adoption of the MB Downtown Master Plan in early 2019.

Nights at Nance wraps up tomorrow night with a special Halloween-themed concert. No tricks... just treats. Enjoy great music and some fun!

Get ready for a spook-tacular time 5:30-8:30 PM Thursday (October 30) at the Nights at Nance Halloween Celebration with Tru Sol in Nance Plaza.

Tru Sol will kick off the last Nights at Nance fall concert at 5:30 PM. A children’s and adult's Halloween Costume Contests will take place beginning at 5:30 PM with winners announced at the concert break.

Boo Bash Details:

Time: 5:30 – 8:30 PM

Family-friendly restaurants are nearby and food vendors will be on site to sell bites and beverages.

Items Needed for Downtown’s Boo Bash:

Nights at Nace - free concert series is back for their biggest lineup yet! 8 Weeks of entertainment on the way. Starting tonight, Thursday 9/4 @ 6 PM.

Last Call to join us for tonight's kickoff of the Nights at Nance fall concert series.

We're excited to welcome Billingsley to the stage in Nance Plaza. The FREE concert will be 6-8 PM. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from local vendors. Or, come early and enjoy bites and beverages from one of our downtown dining establishments.

Shake the sand from your beach chairs and head over Nance Plaza to be entertained by Billingsley. Seating is limited so lawn chairs and beach blankets are recommended.

Myrtle Beach neighborhoods come together to celebrate this annual free event from 5 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, 2101 North Oak Street. Parking is free at the convention center.

All city Neighborhood Watch groups are invited to compete in a dessert competition! Judges will choose a first, second and third place winner. Neighborhoods can also participate in the “themed table” competition. The neighborhood with the most attendees at National Night Out will receive a trophy and a pizza party at its next Neighborhood Watch Public Safety meeting.

The event gives attendees an opportunity to get to know their neighbors, city council members, Myrtle Beach firefighters and police officers, K-9 officers and city staff. Questions? Contact Crime Prevention Officer Stephani James at 843-918-1806 or [email protected] for more information.

Have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day Weekend everyone!

The Waves of Praise Gospel Festival kicks off tomorrow, August 28!🎼🎤

The seventh annual Myrtle Beach Waves of Praise Gospel Fest returns to Myrtle Beach Labor Day weekend. The festivities begin with the Jump Off Concert at 6:00 p.m., tomorrow, August 28, at Mt. Olive AME Church, 1108 Carver Street. The event continues throughout the weekend through, Saturday, August 30.

The main festival is August 29 and 30, at the Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place, 812 North Ocean Boulevard. Here's the lineup of the Grammy and Stellar Award-winning recording artists to enjoy (SEE CHANGE TO HEADLINE ARTIST):

Dorinda Clark Cole (new headline artist), Damon Little, Wess Morgan, Anthony Brown, The Walls Group and Lisa Knowles-Smith & The Brown Singers will perform.

Former headline artist Donnie McClurkin will not be able to attend the event this year.

The festival also features local and regional gospel artists. Bring your whole family to enjoy food, arts and crafts vendors, activities for the kids and more. For security reasons, be sure your bag is clear if you are bringing a bag to the festival. Admission is free, but everyone is encouraged to bring non-perishable items to donate to those in need.
