Our work would be much easier if the issues our kids faced were able to be solved with a hot meal, warm shower, and clean bed. In reality, there is a wide range of deep-seated psychological, physical, and economic reasons for youth homelessness.Even if you only invest a few minutes, you can help give homeless kids a voice That’s because when you join Horry county Teens and Infants Shelter Home on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other social networks, you bring attention to the more than 1.6 million kids who sleep on the streets each year. The more we talk about the issues facing homeless kids, the more the world will listen. Our job is to protect the rights of young people … to fight for these rights … to speak for those who have no voice of their own. Homeless kids have rights. They have the right to a home … the right to food … the right to guidance and an education … the right to be free from sexual, emotional, or physical abuse … and the right to be free from exploitation. These kids have the right to be safe and – most important – to be loved Immediacy Homeless kids come to HC Teens and Infants in crisis. Immediately and without question, we meet their basic human needs – a nourishing meal, a shower, clean clothes, medical attention, and a safe place away from the dangers of the street. Make a difference in there lives today, 100% of all of our donation’s goes directly to keep it running, everyone working here is on a volunteer basis, every dollar goes directly to the ministry for mortgage, utilities, groceries, etc…
