Myrtle Beach Middle School The Myrtle Beach Middle School page provides a glimpse into our diverse and positive environment. MBM serves approximately 1,100 students in grades 6-8.

MBMS is a place where people can thrive; our professional educators deliberately maintain a culture focused on character, community, and scholarship. Myrtle Beach Middle School is a public school located in the heart of Myrtle Beach along with our PK-5 feeder schools Myrtle Beach Primary, Myrtle Beach Elementary and Myrtle Beach Intermediate. Right next door is our community high school and home of the state football champs, Myrtle Beach High.

Ms. Welak’s 7th grade Honors ELA students dove deep into “Black Sunday: The Storm That Gave Us the Dust Bowl” today! Students worked in teams to sort and analyze evidence, determining which details best supported the text’s central idea. They evaluated eyewitness accounts, statistics, causes, and effects—then defended their choices to classmates. Amazing critical thinking and collaboration!
