The 3rd Annual Mu Theta Alpha Math Contest was held today at St. James High School. St. James Elementary competed so well! Our students not only showed academic excellence but represented our school with the best sportsmanship and attitudes! All students completed a timed written test. This test determined who advances to the lightning round. 8 of our students advanced! In addition, there were mini contests that they competed in such as times multiplication test, paper airplane contest, and an estimation challenge.
Due to the hard work from ALL 25 participants, we were able to bring home the 1st place trophy for the 3rd year in a row!🎉🐬
