The celebration of Flag Day continued on Sunday thru the South Strand with the help of two members of Discovery Church and Chapter 1111! We provided 80 handheld flags to Emmitt and Ann Jones who distributed the flags along Garden City Pier and the Myrtle Beach car show in Murrells Inlet. It's National Police week! It's purpose is to bring law enforcement and the community together, honoring the officers dedication to protect and serve. It also recognizes fallen officers who made the ultimate sacrifice while in the line of duty.

We were honored to have the Surfside Beach Mayor, Town Administrator and Communication Coordinator present as well.
