Definitely agree, stick with it and grow...

There are tons of successful pitching coaches out there, all with different philosophies on how pitching should be executed, and rightfully so.

That doesn’t mean you can take one element from one coach, and apply it to what another coach is already having you do.

The same way you can not take spark plugs out of a Honda Accord , and put them into a Ford F-250. You may have two spark plugs that are designed to perform the exact same function, but they are designed to work within a certain engine.

Pitching is the exact same way. Some pitching motions are designed to work effectively within certain pitching styles. For example, Coach “A”, who’s students are well known to have very good curveballs, will teach you how to throw a curveball specifically in a way that works within the mechanics that he/she teaches, and will most likely not work well within the way you are currently being taught.

This is exactly why going to multiple pitching coaches isn’t as beneficial as you may think. Trying to get the best elements, each coach has to offer will most likely have negative effects.

Find a coach that teaches a motion that works well for you.
