I have been made aware from city staff that there is a water leak on E. Lane Drive. This may result in low water pressure on the SW side of Nacogdoches. I will keep everyone updated if anything changes.

UPDATE: Repairs were made and service in the area was restored around 5 AM.

Tucker and I had a great time this morning at Meet the Jacks 🏈

We met several players, got a lot of autographs and even got a picture with Head Coach Colby Carthel.

NIGHT WORK - Nacogdoches
Intermittent lane closures on US 59 North in Nacogdoches will occur after 11 p.m. on Aug. 11. Both lanes south of Spradley Street will close and reopen periodically overnight as overhead signs are installed. Seek alternate routes and plan for delays.

Upcoming Drainage Project - Summer Hill Neighborhood

Construction is scheduled to begin the week of August 3 on the Summer Hill Drainage Improvements Project. The contractor will begin mobilizing to the area and will begin construction once materials are delivered to the site. Construction will take several months and will include installation of new storm pipe and inlets along both streets in the subdivision to tie into the existing outfall at the west end of the subdivision. Local traffic will be accommodated throughout the duration of construction however motorists may experience delays and should plan departures accordingly.

It was my honor to welcome the Governor’s Committee on People with Disabilities (GCPD) to Nacogdoches last week.

I’m so grateful they chose to hold their quarterly meeting in Nacogdoches. We know what a special place our town is and it’s means a lot when we get to share it with others.

Today my family and I went to see the final performance of Annie at the Lamp-Lite Theatre. Everyone was so talented and put on an amazing show! Thank you to Lamp-Lite for always bringing great shows to Nacogdoches.
