This week Mrs Dillard’s 6th grade World Cultures class used gummy bears to construct the different types of governments in our world. They learned about representative government, communism, and dictatorship just to name a few.

Today is Game Day for our Junior High Basketball teams. They will be playing at Chireno today. Junior High Girls start at 5pm and followed by Junior High Boys. There will only be 2 games today.

The Texas Education Agency has released the Accountability Ratings, and we are proud to celebrate Martinsville ISD earning a B rating!

Our students and teachers have been working hard every day to grow, improve, and get better—and it is showing!

Our rating increased from 81 in 2025 to 88 in 2026 — a 7-point improvement!
