Sharing this spotlight with appreciation for Kyle & Leah — their community spirit strengthens the programs our seniors rely on. 💃🕺
📣👠Reveal #1 Kyle & Leah Brasher📣👠
Kyle and Leah are proud high school sweethearts who have shared 31 wonderful years of marriage together. Along the way, they have built a life centered around family, hard work, community, and plenty of laughter. They are the proud parents of two accomplished children — their son, Kendall, who lives in San Antonio and works as a trainer for Etech, and their daughter, Lauryn, who serves as a CSI with the Temple Police Department while pursuing her Doctorate in Forensic Science at Oklahoma State University. Lauryn is also preparing to marry her own high school sweetheart this May.
Professionally, Kyle has spent the past 20 years in the insurance industry and proudly owns Kyle Brasher Insurance. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, camping, and spending time outdoors with their dogs. Leah has dedicated 27 years to nursing, with much of her career focused in hospice care, and now serves as a service coordinator for United Healthcare. In her spare time, she enjoys long-distance running and has completed more than 100 races.
Together, Kyle and Leah share a love for camping, their dogs, and staying active in the community. During her time serving in Junior Forum, Leah especially enjoyed volunteering at the senior center — playing bingo, assisting with meal deliveries, and spending time with local seniors. Through those experiences, it became clear how valuable the center is in providing older adults with a welcoming place to socialize, stay active, and remain connected to their community while helping reduce loneliness among the aging population.
