This afternoon E27 and American Canyon Fire Protection District responded to a 2 vehicle traffic collision at the intersection of Hwy 12 and Kirkland Ranch in Napa. 1 patient required extrication from a vehicle. 2 patients were transported by AMR to local hospitals with minor injuries.

Esta tarde, E27 y respondieron a una accidente de tráfico de 2 vehículos en la intersección de la autopista 12 y Kirkland Ranch en Napa. 1 paciente requirió la extracción de un vehículo. 2 pacientes fueron transportados por AMR a hospitales locales con lesiones leves.

Smoke may be visible from the in Solano County. - CAL FIRE Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit is assisting local agencies with a vegetation fire near Thomasson Ln / Cordelia RD, Cordelia. This is not a CAL FIRE incident at this time. There are no fires in Napa County.

Update: With the rapid response by crews, the vegetation fire near the 3300 block of Hwy 12 in Napa was contained to 0.4 acres. Crews will remain at scene for mop up. Thank you Schell-Vista Fire Protection Dist for the assistance.

Our Hazmat team was able to contain 4 (5 gallon containers) containing hydrogen peroxide and peroxyacetic acid at this mornings response in St Helena. Crews had to use Level A suits per protocol. We want to thank our community members for their patience while the road was closed. In addition we want to thank Napa County Environmental, , , Napa County OES and for their assistance.

Nuestro equipo de Hazmat pudo contener 4 contenedores de 5 galones) que contenían peróxido de hidrógeno y ácido peroxiacético en la respuesta de esta mañana en Santa Helena. Las tripulaciones tenían que usar trajes de nivel A por protocolo. Queremos dar las gracias a los miembros de nuestra comunidad por su paciencia mientras la carretera estaba cerrada. Update: Hazmat Team has isolated the chemical. Fire personnel released. Incident turned over to CHP and Caltrans. Closure to remain in place until Caltrans team completes clean up.

CAL FIRE/Napa County Fire is at scene of a hazmat spill near Zinfandel Lane in St Helena. As a precaution, there is a hard road closure at Stice Lane and Whitehall Lane. 2 wineries and 4 homes have been evacuated along Hwy 29 between Whitehall Lane and Zinfandel Lane. Napa County Hazmat Team along with Hazmat 27 is at scene working on identifying the chemical. More details to follow.
