Look what popped up on my FB photos. This was one of the most memorable days of my life. Latina Talks at the New York Times. Thanks to the one and only Jacqueline Ruiz ✈️ a.k.a. who planned and orchestrated it and invited a group of our book (Today's Inspired Latinas) sisters, to share their stories. It would change all our lives forever. One of my proudest moments even though I lost my voice the night before. Yes I did, but worked through it. Told the audience I had lost my voice from screaming at the top of the Empire State Building with excitement. Then admitted to having laryngitis. 🤣🤣 This experience will go down as one of those moments that change who you are.
