Remembering its protest roots, Pride remains a vital call for change. At Springfield, IL's annual Pridefest, Kim Villanueva and her wife, Sarah, celebrated alongside Dr. Karen Sisk, Karen's daughter, and two friends. This intergenerational connection highlights the ongoing dedication to progress and the enduring spirit of the fight for equality.

Kim Villanueva will make a fantastic National NOW president.

Illinois NOW endorsed our youngest state president and longtime leader on the local, state, and national levels of NOW.

For over three decades, my activism has been a continuous thread, from challenging the war in 1991 to speaking out against every form of injustice today. This persistent advocacy has always centered on the understanding that no one is free until all are free, and that means fiercely championing women's rights. As I step forward to run for President of the National Organization for Women (NOW), I'm ready to bring this long-standing dedication and a proven track record of fighting for systemic change to lead our organization. We need bold leadership to address the pressing issues facing women across all intersections of identity. Let's elect a NOW President who has been on the front lines, consistently and unapologetically.
