What a sweet day it has been at The Salvation Army of Collier County!

We are incredibly grateful to Publix, Dunkin', and Airport Donuts for their generous donations—filling our day with delicious treats and even sweeter smiles. Your kindness truly blessed our community today! 💛

This morning the children from our Child Development Center took a special walk to the Beach House Senior Living, where they shared smiles, songs, and sweetness with the residents. It was a joyful reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can bring the greatest light and hope.

Today was more than donuts—it was about community, compassion, and sharing joy across generations. Thank you to everyone who made this celebration so meaningful!

Did you know that The Salvation Army’s summer camps have been around almost as long as The Salvation Army itself?

The first official summer camp was the “Fresh Air Camp” in Kansas City, and the oldest existing camp was established in 1901 in Camp Lake, Wisconsin.

The rest has been history, serving children across the nation and providing them a summer full of fresh air, sunshine, friendship, ministry, and character-building activities. ☀️
