We feel like such winners to be a beneficiary of Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee's Change for Change program! 🎰 We're so thankful for your support of the Southwest Florida community and for helping make our programs possible.

Did you know that through our HUGS Children's Mental Health Program, we serve children, teens, and families in Immokalee? Bilingual care coordinators visit families in their homes to help increase their access to high-quality mental healthcare and improve their long-term wellbeing 💚

During a home visit, care coordinators might:
📝 Help a caregiver enroll their child with a new insurance provider that will cover mental and behavioral health services
🥪 Bring a delivery of healthy food from NAMI Collier's food pantry
👩‍⚕️ Refer a child to a new therapist or other medical provider
📚 Help caregivers understand their child's IEP plan and get involved at school
🤗 Work with children on emotional regulation skills and healthy family communication strategies
🧬 Provide education to caregivers about their child's diagnosis and strategies to best support them

The Women’s Foundation of Collier County is proud to provide a $45,000 grant to NAMI Collier County to support vulnerable senior women at risk of loneliness, isolation, and mental health challenges.

The grant will help fund a Seniors Outreach Coordinator, bringing mental health support, community activities, life-skills resources, and connections to essential services directly to more than 50 local women.

Together, we’re helping senior women feel connected, supported, and empowered to live independently with dignity. 💜
