Graduation season is here, and we are excited to celebrate three teens from Rob’s Cottage, Youth Haven’s Homeless Teen Transitional Living Program, who are graduating from high school! Congratulations to these remarkable graduates on their accomplishments!
Drake, who is graduating from Naples High School, has demonstrated tremendous determination while overcoming personal challenges and working toward greater independence. During his time at Rob’s Cottage, he secured a better job and is now focused on purchasing a car, renting an apartment, and beginning technical school.
Kaleah, who is graduating from Ida Baker High School, is described as energetic and kindhearted, with improved grades and goals focused on continued education, employment, and independent living. He participated in track and hopes to pursue a career in nursing. Kaleah has shown positive growth while building a strong foundation for the future.
Kim, who is preparing to graduate from Lorenzo Walker Technical High School, completed the Automotive Technology program while earning honors in both biology and math. During his time in the program, he became more social and confident, demonstrating strong determination and perseverance. Kim hopes to pursue an engineering degree and eventually work in the medical device field.
Through hard work, determination, and support from caring adults, these teens are continuing to rise above their trauma and build brighter futures filled with possibility. We are proud to celebrate these remarkable graduates and all they have accomplished.
