With deep sadness we need to announce the passing of James "Jay" Agler. Jay gave 40 years of dedication and service to the fire department and many more to the community. Jay rose through the ranks ultimately reaching the position of Assistant Chief which he held for many years before retiring. During his time with us he was a brother, leader, and mentor, who was always willing to lead a hand or teach a new skill to those around him and especially the younger fireman who will follow in his footsteps, many of whom knew him as the man up north before they knew him as Chief. Rest easy Chief, we have the watch.

Our deepest condolences to the Agler family, and thank you for sharing him with us.
