Last week, Elder Haus tapped into our inner child and enjoyed a life-sized game of Candy Land, followed by a game of horseshoes. Candy Land winners were Van and Mary. The horseshoe winner was Mike.

Spring weather can change fast. We want to make sure everyone in Nappanee knows where to go if a tornado warning happens.

If a real warning is given, these buildings will be unlocked for you to use as shelters:

• First Mennonite Church (900 W. Market St.)
• Healing Heart Community Church (655 S. Main St.)
• Living Gospel Church (302 W. Walnut St.)
• Nappanee Church of the Brethren (301 Mack Dr.)
• Nappanee United Methodist Church (301 E. Market St.)

8/11/26 - Elder Haus is closed at the Pavilion due to a power outage. Transportation is still running, and the phones are on for scheduling.

First stop was lunch at Dutchmaid Eatery. They didn’t disappoint! Delicious!! The rain didn’t keep us away from our second destination…mini-golf at Pla-Mor. ☔️ A little wet but loads of fun!

Another HAPPY Wednesday! A comforting lunch of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, peas & carrots provided by Dal-Mar Catering, dinner rolls donated by Dutch Maid Bakery, and store bought danishes for dessert provided by a generous volunteer! Wednesday’s are also serious card days and today was no different. We even had a fun game of checkers break out!! Please join us if you’re a gamer and we’ll be happy to get you plugged in!!
