🌿🍂 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Brush Collection Ending & Leaf Season Schedule
Fall is almost here, and that means our services are changing soon! Here are the dates you need to know:

September 28th — Last Day for Brush Collection: Our weekly brush pickup ends for the season on Monday, September 28th. Please put your branches by the curb by 7:00 AM that morning. (Remember: Branches must be under 4 feet long and under 3 inches thick, with the cut ends pointing toward the street!)

October 5th — Leaf Collection Begins: Our crews will start picking up leaves on Monday, October 5th.

September is officially here, which means Nappanee’s favorite time of the year is right around the corner!

Join us in downtown Nappanee from Thursday, September 17 through Sunday, September 20 for four days of family fun, entertainment, and world-famous treats.

• Thursday, Sept 17: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Friday, Sept 18: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday, Sept 19: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday, Sept 20: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

🚜 MOWING & YARD WASTE REMINDER:

As you head out to mow or trim, we ask that you please keep your mower chutes pointed away from the street and keep all yard debris clear of drainage areas.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬:
• Motorcycle & Bike Safety: Grass clippings in the roadway are incredibly slick. For those on two wheels, it’s like hitting a patch of ice. 🏍️

• Drainage & Flooding: When grass clippings or brush are placed near storm drains or washed into the gutter, they cause clogs and localized street flooding during rainstorms. ☔

𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬:
• Mowing: Point your mower chute back toward your yard! Grass clippings act as natural fertilizer that return nutrients to your lawn. 🌱

• Brush Pickup: Stack brush piles behind the curb or sidewalk, away from storm drains and gutters, so rain runoff flows freely. 🌿
