Formed in 1983 The Licking Township EMS & Fire Department Started with the help of community leader Tony Layman. The first year of the departments existance LTFD didnt have a building to house its ambulance so the nearby community of Frazeysburg and its FD housed the ambulance and would respond it in times of need. Times have Changed and has the Department. Staffed by Volunteers our

members are dedicated to providing the best possible Fire and Emergency services to our own township and neighboring townships and villages as needed. "When a man becomes a fireman his greatest act of bravery has been accomplished. What he does after that is all in the line of work"
