Friends of the Nashua Public Library

Friends of the Nashua Public Library The Friends of NPL was formed in 2005 to support and advocate for the public library in Nashua. This costs around $7000, depending on the author's fee.

Each year we purchase about $3000 worth of museum passes--the Museum of Science and the Boston Aquarium are the most popular. We spend another $3000 on concerts and programs and about $1400 on movie licenses. We also hold an annual author event that brings the Nashua Reads author for that year to our city. The next phase of the library plan was approved by the joint committee of the Board of Aldermen and the Library's Trustee Board.

The joint Committee on Infrastructure and Library Trustees approved a Library Building Project Plan on Tuesday night.

Details about the library's upcoming renovation (slated for late 2027) are now available at the library's web site.
