Since launching this campaign, I’ve heard the same concerns again and again from voters across southern New Hampshire:

Property taxes are too high.
Affordable housing is scarce.
Costs keep rising.
Our democracy is under threat.

These are issues that can and must be addressed. Too often, we’ve seen good governance take a back seat to politics, and our communities pay the price. I’m running to change that.

This Memorial Day, we honor courageous men and women like my cousin Dusty, who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam defending our country. Their selfless service underscores the high cost of safeguarding our freedoms.

To the loved ones of the fallen, and to the brave members of our military and their families, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Let us honor their memory by actively engaging in the democracy they gave their lives to protect.

As a former legislator, I know firsthand that politics is not easy. But public service in New Hampshire was long grounded in a simple principle: we could disagree strongly and still share commitment to decency, respect, and the common good. That principle is under serious strain, and what is happening right now should concern all of us.

At a time when so many people feel disillusioned and disconnected from politics, we have a choice. We can continue down a path that divides and degrades, or we can recommit ourselves to the values that have long defined our communities.

I am running for Executive Council because I believe in a different kind of leadership—one grounded in respect, accountability, and results. One that recognizes that strength is not measured by how loudly we shout or how harshly we attack, but by how effectively we serve.
