• For Evidence, please press 5.
• For a Dial-by-Name Directory, please press 6.

Congratulations to the newest members of the Nashua Police Department and those recognized for outstanding work! 👏🚔

Today, we proudly recognized several members of the Nashua Police Department for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving our community.

Congratulations to Tim Orrico on his promotion to Lieutenant and Tom Durden on his promotion to Sergeant.

We also welcomed four new officers to the NPD family. Congratulations to Paige Anger, Jonathan Baker, Wyatt Bingham, and Devin Sarfde on their swearing-in.

We would also like to recognize the outstanding work of our detectives:

🔹 Detective Alex Mann received a Letter of Recognition for his work on a hit-and-run investigation.

🔹 Sergeant Ryan Jones and Detectives Corey Gobbi, Matt Foss, Ryan MacDonald, Nicholas Markarian, Jared Granata, Kyle Schiavone, and Ryan Linehan received Letters of Commendation for their work on an investigation that led to the seizure of illegal drugs and fi****ms.

These accomplishments reflect the professionalism, dedication, and teamwork that our officers demonstrate every day.

On August 14, 1964, Patrolman EDWARD C. “ROCKY” GRAZIANO was killed when his police motorcycle was struck by a vehicle on Daniel Webster Highway.
During the early morning hours on August 14, 1964, while on patrol on the D.W. Highway, Officer Graziano’s motorcycle was struck by a vehicle from the next lane. The vehicle then came into his lane, pinning him beneath it. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries. He was 26 years old.
Officer Edward (Rocky) Graziano was the first motorcycle officer killed in the line of duty in New Hampshire. He was a member of the Nashua Police Department for three years at the time of his death. He had also served as a member of the Middlesex County Police Department in Massachusetts and as the interim chief of the Durham Police Department.
He left behind his wife, Sylvia, and three children: Mark (5), Brian (4), and Keri (6 months).
