Summer is the perfect time to fuel your body with healthy nutrition! Join the Tennessee Summer Nutrition Initiative and make this season a delicious step toward better health and you might even earn a little something extra along the way…

Tennessee's Summer Nutrition Initiative is happening! Families with children who qualify will automatically receive $120 on their current EBT card in mid-June 2026.

This year’s program will serve families with school-age children who:
✔️Actively participated in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Families First (TANF) on May 1, 2026.
And
✔️Live in Bledsoe, Cannon, Clay, DeKalb, Fentress, Hancock, Humphreys, Jackson, Lewis, Marshall, Moore, Sequatchie, and Smith County.

The Tennessee Summer Nutrition Initiative aims to help families who rely on the National School Lunch Program but have limited access to the Summer Food Service Program. Families who qualify will be automatically enrolled.
