🌿 Yard Waste Pickup Update

Due to the storm that impacted our area last night, Public Works will be collecting yard waste today and tomorrow. Crews will continue pickup next week as needed.

Please place limbs and other storm-related yard debris at the curb, away from mailboxes, utility poles, fire hydrants, and drainage areas. Thank you for your patience as our crews work throughout the community.

The Splash Pad season is coming to an end, but there’s still plenty of time to squeeze in a few more days of fun! 💙

💦 The Splash Pad will remain open through September 30, so grab the kids, bring the sunscreen and enjoy it while you can!

🚧 STREET CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

Ready Contractors will begin a stormwater improvement project on Wednesday, August 26. The project will rebuild and enlarge the storm sewer intakes at Railroad Street and Boddie Street and install a new storm sewer intake at the southeast corner of Cross Street and Boddie Street.

A portion of Boddie Street and Railroad Street will be closed for approximately two weeks. Openings will be provided for local traffic and adjoining property owners to access their properties.

All work will take place more than 25 feet from the railroad tracks. Please use caution in the area and plan for possible delays. Thank you for your patience while these improvements are completed.
