Today at storytime we made juice box sailboats, sailboat apple and cheese snacks and learned about boats and poetry, reading this poem likely written as a lullaby and published by Tennyson. Join us on Wednesdays at 12:30. Come early or come late. We will have something for you to do. 😊

Attention Story Time Families! Story time is moving to a new time! Please join us on Wednesdays at 12:30 for stories, songs and crafts. Our first Wednesday story time will be on August 26th. This program is geared towards children aged 0-5 and their caregivers. Families are welcome. Please call 517-852-9723 or stop by the library for more information.

Putnam District Library was at Nashville Community Garden this morning picking green beans, cherry tomatoes and flowers. We left some to share on the stand.

Please help yourself to picking more green beans and flowers. There are also a few cherry tomatoes and cucumbers on the stand for you to take. There are lots of ripe cherry tomatoes to pick. There are a few Romas that are ripe as well.

Please do not pick the watermelon. It is not ripe yet. We will post a sign when it is ready. Watermelons and acorn squash might look ready, but they are both still green. Thanks.
