Join Mayor Freddie O'Connell, Nashville Public Library, and the Metro Historical Commission to pay tribute to the legendary North Branch Library at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 23.

Immediately following the mayor’s weekly media roundtable at North branch, we’ll unveil a new historical marker in honor of this beloved library location—and its service to the community for more than 100 years as one of the city’s two remaining Carnegie libraries.

The Novel Conversations book club will discuss The road by Cormac McCarthy Tuesday, October 13th at 6:00 p.m. Come join us for a lively book discussion!
A father and his son walk alone through burned America. Nothing moves in the ravaged landscape save the ash on the wind. It is cold enough to crack stones, and when the snow falls it is gray.
