Rainy weather couldn't keep the Coleman Park Community Center crew down today as we stayed dry and active enjoying mobility exercises, photography, storytime with Mr. Chris, a few yummy blackberries from our garden, and our awesome game room! We also celebrated Ms. Iris with a delicious send-off cake, and while everyone will miss her terribly, we all wish her the very best on the next step of her journey.

We made the most of the beautiful weather at Madison Regional Center today, kicking things off with a refreshing morning walk and wrapping it up with a fun game of four square. In between, we finished our snail projects, learned some amazing facts about owls, and had a blast practicing our sign language alphabet!

The Tennessee Disability Coalition Board of Directors is looking to fill four (4) open spots on our Small Grants Review Committee. This is a great opportunity to learn about the grant review process, support community-driven projects, and help make a meaningful impact across the state.

No grantmaking experience is required to serve on the committee. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and encourage people from across Tennessee to apply. The deadline to apply is June 26, 2026.
