Today Nashville Fire Protection District along with Nashville Police Department, Washington County Ambulance Service and Washington County Sheriff's Department had the pleasure of meeting the two young men who assisted with evacuating residents of the Village Apartments during the fire on April 23rd.
These young men put themselves in harms way to do the right thing and help others. Your friends and families should be extremely proud!
Today both Daven Hug and Andy Goforth were recognized for their selfless actions to perform lifesaving measures that night prior to first responders arrival. They were presented with certificates and challenge coins recognizing their efforts.
Thank you gentlemen on a job well done!!!!
