On behalf of everyone at the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, we would like to extend our thoughts for Marshal Fisher’s family, friends, and colleagues.

Marshal Fisher was tragically killed this morning after being struck by a suspect vehicle while assisting with a vehicle pursuit in Randolph County, Indiana.

It is with profound sadness that we share the news that Lynn Town Marshal Brad Fisher made the ultimate sacrifice today in the line of duty.

Marshal Fisher was deploying stop sticks during a vehicle pursuit when he was struck by the fleeing suspect's vehicle. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries.

Please keep Marshal Fisher's family, his brothers and sisters in law enforcement, and the entire Randolph County public safety community in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, Brother. We have the watch from here.
