Friends, about 9 am or so were looking at rain , and should clear out by noon. Worst should pass south of us. The outer band on its northern side looks to pass over us, and looks to be weakening. I dont trust it, and believe it could build some. Looks like mostly rain, but lightning is possible. Be ready.

Were under a thunder storm watch. Looks like it will effect Nashville more than we in southern Brown but we can still expect some excitement I believe. Be prepared.

Friends, sounding like a broken record, but looks like some morning rain showers possible until noon or so. Dont see a bad bunch or weather yet, so that is good. Guessing humidity will be very high, so stay safe.

Friends, while many weather sources are calling for bad weather for Indiana I see it a little different. I try to localize it as it effects we in Brown County communities. Yes, some seemingly nasty weather is entering Indiana today, it looks to involve the northern portion. Looks like mostly a line from Bloomington across northern Brown will likely see some weather. For those south, it looks to reduce intensity and may weaken substancially, and we may primarilly see rain. Of course, a possibility exists that it could strengthen and drift more south. My gut feeling is it will weaken, possible rain showers but very hot and humid. Stay safe and cool.

Well friends, more weather. Looks like currently a big line is moving across north of us but 9:30 to 10 am a tail swings down and looks like this will be multiple smaller storms possibly strong at times at least until noon or so. Might clear off some after that. Not a good day to be outside it seems.

Was at the support meeting for the park fire tower restoration, with the friends of Brown County State Park. Awesome meal from The Seasons. Thanks Kevin Ault. Coming home, after the rain I had a great chance to snap a picture of hills peeking through the ground fog.

Looks like the big mass fractured, and some crossing central Indiana, and a portion split and is coming over us. Rain, and thunder for a while then scatter spotty showers. Looks like a good popcorn and movie night tonight. Stay safe.

Friends, some are forcasting more severe weather that may involve our area. Still early to get a clear picture, or timeline. What I see is a mass forming over southern Wisconsin, moving east. Looks like it will involve Chigago , and possibly Gary but thats where it gets iffy. As it gets there radar projections seem to show it weaken, but with lake effect temps and wind its anyones guess at this time. Looks to move more east, and very possible only give us rain if anything. It also could weaken or build. Just too early, as timeline for our area looks like tomorrow early morning. By later this evening there should be a clearer picture of it.

Friends, more weather coming in. Timeframe about 2pm to 4pm or so and it definately doesnt look friendly. Expect lots of rain, possibly lightning (although lightning isnt showing yet on radar), and dont count severe wind out. Stay prepared. Sadly if tbe sun comes back out next couple days will be very humid.

Friends, Weather Channel weather radar is showing some potentially nasty weather that may break loose shortly. Most may be just east of us however the part that looks to pass over is really not looking good. Lots of red in it, so expect lightning and hard rain. The likelihood of wind is really good as well. I estimate maybe at 10 am or just after it may erupt.
