A flat tire or dashboard light can be stressful, especially when you’re on your own!

That’s why we’re so grateful to Beaman Toyota for spending time with our young people in our Opportunity Passport program this week. 🚗🔧

Opportunity Passport teaches the skills they need for adulthood, including financial literacy, career readiness, and more. During this class, the students got hands-on experience with basic car care, asked questions about vehicle maintenance, and learned about career opportunities in the automotive industry.

Thank you, Beaman Toyota, for helping them build confidence for the road ahead! 💪

A few of this week’s wins from our all-staff call 🥹💙
 
🏁 Foster youth attended The Cracker Barrel 500, watched a truck race in a suite, and tried Moon Pies for the first time
🌱 Monroe Gardens received a $1,600 donation
🎓 Our Resource Center youth celebrated graduation with a trip to Broadway during CMA Fest
📚 A housing program member took the ACT and is continuing to work toward college acceptance
 
Some wins are big milestones, but others are simple moments that bring joy or a new experience. At Monroe Harding, we believe they’re all worth celebrating. 🎉

Thinking back on Fostering Voices last year at the Bluebird Cafe... ✨ There's nothing better than gathering together for a night of music, especially when it's in support of a good cause!

We can't wait to be back at The Bluebird Cafe on June 23 for another unforgettable evening.

Tickets go on sale next Tuesday, June 16, at 8 AM, and a portion of every ticket sold will support Monroe Harding's programs. We hope you'll join us! 💙🎶

You never know what might bloom from a simple conversation! 🌿

After stopping by the Monroe Gardens booth at the Woodmont Farmers Market, a member of the Cumberland Herb Association shared that she remembered Monroe Harding from years ago and felt inspired to reconnect with our mission.

Although the association is no longer active, its members chose to donate the remaining funds from their account to support our Resource Center and Monroe Gardens!

We are incredibly grateful for the Cumberland Herb Association's generosity and for the connections that continue to grow in support of the young people we serve. 💚

A tournament shirt and a great cause? Count us in. 👕🏓

Register for DinkFest and score this tee, then hit the courts for an action-packed round-robin tournament with divisions for all skill levels, trophies, and maybe even Best Costume bragging rights. 👀

Advanced players (scores 3.5+) will also have their scores submitted to DUPR.

AND you're supporting Monroe Harding's mission to serve youth and young adults impacted by foster care. That's a win all around 🏆✨
