On July 29th, our community was struck by a historical flash flood. Unfortunately, our downstairs community room, kitchen and utility room were damaged, forcing us to close this important space while repairs are made. We are INCREDIBLY grateful to everyone who stepped forward to help and the many people who have asked, "How can we help?"

The answer is: your financial support of our 2026 Annual Appeal can make a lasting difference.

Your contribution will help us:
-Restore our community room and kitchen
-Install new gutters
-Upgrade our heating and cooling system with heat pumps
-Provide free online access to the Times Union for our patrons

Thank you for you continued support of our library and please feel free to donate online at:

Hi library lovers!! It's my favorite week of the year! Yes, it's Fat Bear Week!
Time to vote every day for your favorite chonky-Mcchunky-face bears of Katmai National Park, Alaska. Download your bracket here:

And head over to explore.org to learn about each bear and how they get so enormous!

And yes, storytime will be Fat Bear themed!

We have missed our Storytime friends!! It's time to dance, and sing and rhyme and read some stories together again!
Our community room is still unavailable, so we will be upstairs for the forseeable future. We would really appreciate an RSVP for each storytime as we will keep the number of children to about 10. Call us, email, or respond to this post!
