Dear Lord, as we step into March,
we place our first responder families in Your hands.
When we kiss goodbye in the dark before a 24-hour or 48-hour shift,
when the house feels quieter without his steady presence,
when exhaustion follows both the leaving and the waitingโ
be our steady place.
Guard the firefighter racing toward flames.
Protect the officer standing watch in the dark.
Shield the medic carrying heavy moments home.
Cover every dispatcher who hears what others never will.
Strengthen the spouses who hold down the fort.
Fill empty chairs with Your peace.
Turn worry into whispered prayers.
Turn long nights into holy ground.
Give our children comfort when they miss their hero.
Give our marriages patience when exhaustion creeps in.
Give our homes laughter that outweighs the hard days.
In this new month,
plant resilience where fear tries to grow.
Plant hope where uncertainty lingers.
Plant joy in the middle of ordinary moments.
Remind us that even when shifts feel long,
You are longer.
Even when nights feel dark,
You are brighter.
Go before every call.
Stand beside every scene.
Walk back through the front door with them.
We trust You with the sirens,
the schedules,
and the spaces in between.
In Jesusโ Name,
Amen โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
