I am incredibly proud and humbled by the show of support that we received yesterday. Congratulations to my opponent, Deborah Blackwell on her re-election. I will continue helping to make our communities a better place and look forward to serving you as an elected official in the future. Thank you for your support!

EDIT: On November 8th, I ran for the position of Circuit Judge against Deborah Blackwell. I lost that election by about 20% of the votes. Maybe if voter turn-out had been greater or if voters had done more research, the results could have been different. I'm not privy to the details of many of the cases that she rules on, but if anyone feels that this judge (or any other) is out of line, a complaint may be filed with the Commission for Judicial Performance. We all have to participate in our Judicial system for it to function and function fairly.

I'm asking you to please get out and vote today. Historically this right has been withheld and kept as a way of controlling the government. Many people have fought to give each of us the right to vote. Please exercise that right. I also ask that you consider casting your vote for me. There are 2 different Circuit Court Judge elections happening this election cycle. Tim is running against Debra Blackwell and Eileen Maher in the 6-2 election. Lydia Blackmon, Carmen Brooks Drake, and Scott Pintard are running against one another in the 6-1 election. Please vote for Tim Blalock on November 8th.
