Association for the Preservation of Historic Natchitoches Historic Preservation in Natchitoches Parish One hundred years from now, APHN will continue to be the culture-keeper of Natchitoches.

APHN's vision is to apprise future generations of our unique cultural heritage and inspire them to continue efforts to preserve it. To that end, we will strive for excellence in interpretation that challenges our audience with ideas, relationships and concepts, and education that is informative, thought-provoking, and stimulating. All of the citizens of our region will understand, support, and cel

ebrate the preservation, restoration, and interpretation of our historic sites, cultures, buildings, and artifacts. Because of the efforts of APHN, Natchitoches and the Cane River area will be recognized and celebrated by historians, educators, tourists, and descendants of the cultures that make up our community.
