🚫🔥 County-Wide Burn Ban Notice 🔥🚫

Dear residents of Halifax County,

During last night’s Fire Commission meeting, the Fire Departments strongly recommended implementing a county-wide burn ban due to the ongoing dry weather conditions. These conditions significantly increase the risk of uncontrolled fires, putting lives, property, and land at risk.

This evening, the Halifax County Board of Supervisors reviewed and officially approved this recommendation.

We are asking all residents to please refrain from any outdoor burning until further notice. This includes brush burns, debris burning, and any open flames that could pose a fire hazard.

Your cooperation is essential in helping us protect our community and keep everyone safe. Updates will be provided as conditions improve.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
