Have you visited (or revisited) the seed library? Come grab some before the long weekend! We still have lots of herb, greens, and veggie seeds. This week looks nice and warm which is important for germination.
This month is a great time to sow squash, melons, and any cucurbits outside. More delicate plants like tomatoes and peppers prefer the overnight temps to be above 50, so keep an eye on the weather for those, but it is a good idea to harden them off if you haven't started that yet.

Good news!!! The children’s department is getting new flooring the week of May 18-22. More good news: any books due that week get an extra “Staycation” week at your home! They will be due back May 26. If possible please keep books home until then, it would really help us out! We will have a small collection of children’s materials on first floor to browse from as well.
