Natick Community Services Department The Natick Community Services Department is comprised of several divisions, all focused on enriching our community and serving the needs of its residents.

Divisions include: Recreation and Parks, Council on Aging and Human Services, Veteran's Services. As a department we seek to improve the quality of life for all of our residents in part by
designing and offering a wide range of educational, recreational, cultural and
health and fitness related opportunities for every resident of any age at one of our numerous
indoor and outdoor facilities. From

MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION:
Veterans: Memorial Day– Monday, May 25, 2020

The Veteran Services Department invites you to watch a special broadcast on Pegasus that will air over the 3-day weekend. It will feature 16 local folks who are veterans and friends of veterans that will speak about what Memorial Day means to them. This video production has been organized by, Paul Carew. It features veterans William Callahan COL Ret, VSO Paul Carew, Korean veteran John Crissafulli, VSO James Devlin, Major USMCR Mike Devin, Vietnam veteran Scott Dixon, Judge Mike Fabbri, Veteran Council President Warren Griffin, Vietnam veteran David Josselyn, Iraq veteran Dan McNulty, Commander American Legion Post John Murphy, VSO Waltham Michael Russo, Command Sergeant Major Will Valliere, Committee Members, Director Community Services Susan Ramsey, veterans Oral History Maureen Sullivan, and Patrick Conaway.

Please note: There won’t be a parade this year.

Per today's announcement from Governor Baker, Sassamon Trace Golf Course will open at 2 pm May 7th. The following rules & restrictions apply:

- No Walk in play allowed, golfers must call (508) 655-1330 and pay in advance
- Do not arrive earlier than 15 minutes in advance of your tee time
- You must bring your own clubs
- You must maintain social distancing of 6 ft
- Rentals carts, pull carts and rental clubs are not available
- Golf shop closed
- No restrooms facilities are available on site
- Golf holes are filled so ball stays partly above ground
- Touching of flag slicks and signs is prohibited
- Water stations and ball washing stations are not available
- Bunker rakes are not available
- Practice facility is unavailable

We request that you adhere to all rules and restrictions in order to maintain a safe environment for all to play in. Welcome back and have fun!

REMINDER THAT THE ELECTION HAS BEEN POSTPONED with a new date to be determined at a later time.

The Select Board voted to postpone the annual Town election which was scheduled for March 31st. At this time, a date has not been selected but there will be many announcements and information when a date has been chosen. Just to reiterate the Annual Town Election scheduled for this coming Tuesday, March 31st has been postponed.

Natick Housing Authority staff and residents and Natick Council on Aging and Human Services staff delivered 258 lanterns to all residents of Cedar Gardens to provide emergency lighting in the event of a power outage. Lanterns were generously provided by the Rotary Club of Natick and the Charles River Rotary.
