Connecting Green Chemistry and Lab Safety at the Beyond Benign P2I Workshop 🤝

At the recent 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗣𝟮𝗜 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽, LSI Executive Director Christina McKeon led an insightful session on 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆: 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗞–𝟭𝟮, 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆.

One of the most rewarding discussions centered on a fundamental concept: 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

✅ 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 intentionally designs processes to minimize environmental impact.
